Jiangtao Qu received his BSc on the subject of Microelectronics from Xidian University (P.R.CHINA) in the year of 2005 and obtained PhD degree from the University of Sydney in 2018. He is currently a microscopy support scientist based in Microscopy Australia at sydney University node.

Dr Jiangtao Qu's research interests target on the atomic-scale characterization of functional nanomaterials such as nanoparticles and nanowires, linking their property -structure relationship via advanced microscopic techniques including atom probe tomography (APT), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy/focused ion beam (SEM/FIB).
