We have a range of scholarships for international students studying an undergraduate degree in law. This page includes scholarships for both prospective and current international students.

Charles Herbert Currey Memorial Scholarship for Honours $500
  • Domestic and international student
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, Juris Doctor and Masters by coursework students studying at law schools around Australia and New Zealand
  • Willing to attend the honours workshop
Charles Herbert Currey Memorial Scholarship in Law Up to $40,000 
  • Currently enrolled in final year of a Baclelor of Laws or a Juris Doctor within the University of Sydney Law School
  • Alumni must be a recent graduate from Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor of the University of Sydney Law School.
Charles Herbert Currey Memorial Scholarship for LawWithoutWalls Sprint Program $3,000
  • Domestic and international student
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time or part-time Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor, Master of Laws and Master of Business Law
  • Willing to attend the LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) Sprint program
Judge J Ralph J Perdriau Practical Legal Training Scholarship for Marrickville Legal Centre $23,000
  • Domestic/international student
  • Currently enrolled in final semester in a LLB or JD
  • Undertake a 75 day PLT program at Marrickville Legal Centre
Judge J Ralph J Perdriau Practical Legal Training Scholarship for Redfern Legal Centre $23,000 
  • Domestic or international student
  • Currently enrolled in final semester in LLB or JD
  • Undertake a 75-day PLT program at the Redfern Legal Centre
The University of Sydney Law School Dean's Mobility Scholarship $3,000 
  • Domestic/international student
  • Full-time or part-time student currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of Sydney Law School
  • have been approved by the University of Sydney Law School to undertake an international moot or School - specific law offshore programs
The University of Sydney Law School Dean’s Scholarship Tuition fees or $10,000 p.a.
  • International student
  • Unconditional offer of admission in the full-time JD or LLM
Pitt Cobbett Scholarship Up to $5,000
  • Demonstrate financial hardship
  • Enrolled full-time in either the undergraduate Combined Law or the Juris Doctor Program
Sydney Law School Exchange Scholarship $2000
  • High academic achiever experiencing financial hardship
  • Enrolled in final year of the LLB or JD
The Alan Neaves Scholarship I Up to $3,000
  • Current student
  • Enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Undertake a law program

  • Registered with Inclusion and Disability Services (IDS) 
  • Must be eligible and wiling to enrol in the unit of study LAWS3525/5225 Legal Internship
The David Burnett Memorial Scholarship in Social Justice Up to $6000
  • Enrolled full-time in LLB or JD
  • Enrolled in the Sydney Law School Social Justice Program

  • Recent school leaver commencing a LLB
  • Experiencing financial hardship
Ashurst Shanghai Winter School Scholarship Up to $2,500
