Dr Sarah Dalati

Bachelor of Science (Honours) 2009, PhD 2015
After completing a PhD in science with the School of Medical Sciences, Sarah now works as a Clinical Embryologist at Genea.

Sarah's PhD research investigated fertility and the fertilisation process for mice. In particular, she examined the fertilisation of mice oocytes (cells within the ovary). Her unique understanding of fertility from a medicial and scientific perspective coupled with her in-depth research, led her to to become a Clinical Embryologist at Genea, a world leading fertility organisation in Australia for people struggling to conceive. 

During Sarah’s studies at the University of Sydney she received numerous awards of excellence including Outstanding Oral Presentation by a Postgraduate Research Student at the Xth Bosch Young Investigators Symposium and Peprotech Prize for Outstanding Oral Presentation by a Postgraduate Research Student at the XIIIth Bosch Young Investigators symposium held at the University of Sydney in 2013.

Sarah was also awarded finalist for an Oral presentation at the 2014 Society for Reproductive Biology conference in Melbourne.
