How to get involved in Mental Health Month

Prioritise your wellbeing this October
In recognition of Mental Health Month and this year's theme, 'Let's Talk About It', we've compiled a list of wellbeing events you can get involved in this month, as well as resources and services you can access year round to support your wellbeing.

Mental Health Month  is celebrated each year in the month of October in New South Wales. This year's theme, 'Let's Talk About It', prompts us all to reflect on our mental health and overall wellbeing, and encourage us to not shy away from difficult conversations about mental health.

Mental Health Month also reminds us of the importance of maintaining good mental health in our daily lives, irrespective of whether we've experienced mental illness, and encourages a proactive approach to connecting with support services when necessary.

To celebrate Mental Health Month, we're hosting several wellbeing events and activities across our campuses to help you connect with your peers and University staff.

Read on to find out what's on during October, as well as how to access health and wellbeing support year round.
