Dr Rosa Taghikhah
Firouzeh (Rosa) Taghikhah is a lecturer in the Discipline of Business Analytics at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research interests are at the interface of analytics, decision making, and sustainable development goals. She uses data science to address challenges in decision making. Her work has been recognized by several peer-reviewed top-tier journals (e.g., European Journal of Operations Research), international awards (e.g., Early Career Research Excellence Prize) and grants (e.g., the Australian Research Council Linkage), mostly related to decision support systems. Rosa is a member of Women in STEM and encourage the involvement of young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. She coordinated several analytical subjects at multiple universities (e.g., Macquarie University) and served in industry (e.g., Ernst & Young (Sydney)). Firouzeh received her PhD in Analytics from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney (2021). Before joining the University of Sydney, she was a research fellow at the Australian National University.
Firouzeh (Rosa) Taghikhah is interested in decision analytics, developing decision-making tools to address critical challenges in socio-environmental systems. Her research paves the way for designing advanced technologies, including the development of digital twins for adpative decision-making.
