Dr Annelise Gluer is a general and trauma surgeon working at Dubbo Hospital. After completing her general surgery training in New South Wales, Annelise undertook post-fellowship training in trauma surgery at the Royal Melbourne and Princess Alexandra Hospitals.

Annelise is an experienced researcher who has presented and published in fields that include trauma, emergency general surgery, breast surgery, HPB surgery, colorectal surgery, and medical ethics. She is a keen educator who has been teaching on trauma courses for over a decade and is actively involved in educating medical students, residents and registrars. In addition to her surgical qualifications, Annelise also has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma in Child Health, Masters of Public Health, and Graduate Diploma in Bioethics.
