Dr Daniel Selim trained as an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist with the University of Queensland at the Brisbane Dental Hospital (Metro North Oral Health). His training included rotations at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, and the Holy Spirit Northside hospital; as well as rotations to several private radiology practices in Brisbane and Perth.

He is the only AHPRA registered Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist based in the state of NSW.

Dr Selim holds both private and public appointments, and is Staff Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist at the Sydney Dental Hospital.

He is an examiner for the Australian Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program.

Dr Selim is chair of the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting (OOO MDT), assisting with teaching of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine Registrars in New South Wales.

Dr Selim is a member of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology (MRACDS DMFR); and previously served on the NSW/ACT regional committee of the college.

Dr Selim previously served on the editorial board for Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR) and is currently a reviewer for the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (BJOMS).
