Dr Dannel Yeo (PhD) is a Lab Head and Senior Research Officer at Centenary Institute, an adjunct Senior Lecturer at The University of Sydney (School of Medical Science, Faculty of Medicine and Health), and honorary Hospital Research Scientist at Royal Prince Alfred, SLHD (Department of Cell and Molecular Therapies).

Dr Yeo is interested in understanding the biology of cancer for therapeutic intervention and improving patient management, focusing mainly in rare cancers such as pancreatic cancer and mesothelioma. His research areas include biomarkers, cellular therapies (CAR-T cell therapy), liquid biopsies (circulating tumour DNA, circulating tumour cells), patient-derived models (organoids), and murine cancer models.
