Lead, Prostate Cancer Stream
The Daffodil Centre
David Smith is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. He is the group lead of the prostate cancer stream at the Daffodil Centre.
• Research interests relate to prostate cancer testing, treatment decision making and supportive care:
• Describing and evaluating optimal population-wide strategies for prostate cancer testing.
• Epidemiology of prostate cancer including understanding more about known and possible causes.
• Reduction in inequality in patterns of care and outcomes of care for prostate cancer.
• Development and application of quality of life and supportive care measures.
