Dr Don Nocum

Dr Don Nocum is a Lecturer in Clinical Education at the Discipline of Medical Imaging Science, School of Health Sciences. Areas of teaching include medical radiation physics, professional practice radiography, and specialist modality training. Leadership roles include Unit of Study Coordination of Medical Radiation Sciences Radiography, Radiography Work Integrated Learning, and Clinical Studies Radiography. Don is the current Student Liaison Academic (SLA) for the Graduate Entry Masters (GEM) Diagnostic Radiography course. He is a supervisor of research Higher Degree Masters (HDR) students.
Don’s research interests include medical image optimisation and perception, observer performance, radiation dosimetry, and radiation dose awareness.
