Ms Erin Fearn-Smith

Erin Fearn-Smith is a Registered Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor and PhD candidate investigating cognitive impairment and brain injury among people who are experiencing homelessness. Since graduating from the University of Sydney's undergraduate Health Science progam in 2000, Erin has completed post-graduate qualifications in Psychology, Community Development, Human Nutrition and Child and Adolescent Health.

With a focus on social inclusion and 25+ years in human services leadership roles across Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Erin has played a central role in the establishment of some key innovative service models to address homelessness in Central Sydney, including Housing First programs, Platform 70 and Common Ground Sydney. Alongside teaching and research, Erin operates a private consultancy practice, delivers individual and group clinical supervision in the community sector and is a non-executive director for Brigid Justice, non-profit law firm for women experiencing or leaving violence.
