Dr Fatemeh Emadi

Dr Fatemeh Emadi is a lecturer at the Sydney School of Pharmacy and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a PhD. She has worked in various clinical settings as an oncology hospital pharmacist and pharmacy manager. She is currently a clinical affiliate with the Western NSW Local Health District's virtual pharmacy services. Dr Emadi completed her postdoc at the University of Sydney, where she was involved in the TICTOC project (Timely Post-Discharge Medication Reviews to Improve Continuity of the Transitions of Care). She contributed as the first author to the report on Medication Management at Transitions of Care Stewardship Framework, funded by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.
Dr Emadi's research experience spans pharmacy practice, transitions of care, digital health, cancer research, patient safety, and medication management.
Dr Emadi has teaching experience across various educational environments and is currently the co-coordinator for the Unit of Study PHAR3826, "Musculoskeletal, Dermatological, and Senses". She has also served as a tutor for the clinical assessment of professional practice course at the University of Sydney's pharmacy school.
At the University of Adelaide, Dr Emadi supervised undergraduate students during their research placements, providing guidance and designing a two-semester curriculum for their research projects. Additionally, she lectured on pharmacy technician courses, such as medication information, pharmaceutical sciences, and herbal medicines, at ACECR.
