Professor Gerard Sutton

Professor Sutton divides his time and energy between his private practice and his University and Hospital activities, which include research into keratoconus, corneal transplantation and eye care in the developing world. In his private practice he specialises in laser vision correction, as well as intraocular lens & corneal surgery, practicing out of Vision Eye Institute, Chatswood. Professor Sutton has interests in research both clinical and laboratory based. He has established the Australian Corneal Bioengineering Centre for the development of cell based and bio-engineered treatments.HeI continues to conduct clinical research in corneal, refractive and cataract surgery.
