Dr Kristy Robledo

Senior Research Fellow (biostatistics)
NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre
Faculty of Medicine and Health

Dr Kristy Robledo is an early career statistician with over 14 years’ experience in clinical trials research. Kristy is responsible for the provision of statistical leadership to clinical trial networks in oncology, neonatology, cardiovascular and other areas, to design, undertake, analyse and report on clinical trials. Her research is also in the methods used to analyse of biomarker data in clinical trials. She is also passionate about sharing and teaching coding in statistics software, particularly to increase efficiency and reproducibility in clinical trials research. She holds a workshop called ‘Coding Conundrums’ once a month to facilitate a sharing platform for researchers.

  • Methods of analysis for biomarker data in clinical trials
  • Neonatal clinical trials
  • Gynaecological clinical trials (cervical and endometrial)

Kristy coordinates a unit of study (CLTR5002: Interpretation of trials results) in the Masters of Clinical Trials Research. She also is responsible for the content development, coordination and teaching of short courses in statistics, including the annual statistical training provided to Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) trainees.

Kristy also is a supervisor to four PhD students.
