Mr Lachlan Oldfield

Lachlan Oldfield is an Associate Lecturer at the Sydney School of Pharmacy and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons), Master of Brain and Mind Sciences, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and is a current PhD candidate. His research focuses on improving access to essential medications and strengthening the response of low-income and lower-middle-income countries to epidemics by gathering information on how health care systems can better prepare for future outbreaks like COVID-19.
Lachlan is a pharmacy practice researcher and educator. His recent research involved fieldwork within the South Pacific Islands exploring medication shortages and gathering data on healthcare system's responses to COVID-19.
Lachlan has a broad range of teaching experience across several units of study in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs within the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
