Dr Nashwa Masnoon

Dr Nashwa Masnoon is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Geriatric Pharmacotherapy at the Kolling Institute,Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney and the Northern Sydney Local Health District. She also works as a hospital pharmacist at the Royal North Shore Hospital. She was awarded her PhD in December 2020 from the University of South Australia which looked at identifying older adults with multimorbidity and polypharmacy who are at risk of adverse outcomes from potentially inappropriate polypharmacy.

Dr Masnoon's research, teaching and practice experiences and interests are in geriatric pharmacology and deprescribing, pharmacoepidemiology and overall quality use of medicines.
