Raaj Kishore Biswas is a biostatistician and an R enthusiast. He currently works as a Biostatistician (Research Fellow) at the Charles Perkins Centre where the focus of research is analysing health effects of physical activity and other lifestyle health behaviours using cohort studies and international data consortia. He is also a research biostatistician (part-time) at the Clinical Research Centre of Sydney Local Health District. His primary work focuses on dealing with health data modelling, analysis of large cohort and randomized trials as well as providing statistical consultation for multifaceted health research. He is also a sessional lecturer at Swinburne and regularly supervises postgraduate students.
Raaj regularly collaborates across globe to work on biostatistics and public health projects, particularly focusing on big data modelling, the novel health interventions, control trials as well as health care system and service accessibilities in developing countries. Environmental statistics, behavioural analysis and spatial techniques are also part of his areas of interest.
