Dr Sarab Mansoor

Dr. Sarab Mansoor (BPharm, B.Sc., PhD) is a dedicated academic and registered pharmacist with extensive experience in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. She earned her PhD in 2015 from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney, for her research on inter-professional collaboration and the role of community pharmacists in improving patient adherence to medications. Her PhD was supported by an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA). Sarab won the International Women Award of 2018 in appreciation to the academic achievement.
Dr Sarab is a community pharmacy researcher with expertise in a range of qualitative and quantitative research method. Dr. Sarab’s research spans various topics, including improving medication use, community pharmacy practices/services, as well as public health topics (e.g. Mass gathering diesease including respiratory tract infections prevention, detection, and control). Her interdisciplinary approach emphasizes person-centred care and collaborative solutions to healthcare challenges.
Currently, Dr. Sarab coordinates and teaches across multiple units of study within the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programs. Her teaching approach aims to enhance student learning by ensuring they develop a strong foundational understanding while constructively aligning with unit learning objectives and curriculum requirements
