HEALTH4ME-Digital health program for young people to improve physical and mental health
Physical activity and nutrition are pillars of good physical and mental health, yet, are among the most significant health challenges facing today’s young people. In Australia, over 90% of adolescents own a mobile phone, yet there are limited digital health programs to improve youth health in primary care.
To address this, we will test a scalable digital health program for young people. This research could ultimately better integrate services for young people in primary care across Australia.
HAYPYUS- Health Advisory Panel for Youth at The University of Sydney
HAPYUS allows young people to work with public health researchers to identify and advocate for issues that matter to them related to chronic disease prevention, by contributing to and helping to shape research agendas. Participation in the Youth Advisory Group aims to help increase young people’s confidence, leadership skills and research aptitude through skill development sessions with leading researchers in chronic disease prevention and digital health.
Hungry for Science -a science communication platform for young people (13-18 years), which communicates the latest science about young people to young people!
