Professor Stephen Cobley

Steve is a Professor in Sport & Exercise Psychology & Motor Control & Learning in the Discipline of Exercise & Sport Science within the Faculty of Medince & Health Sciences at The University of Sydney.

​Steve's primary research interests examine developmental factors that constrain learning, development, and performance across sport, educational, and workplace settings. Ass. Prof. Cobley is a member of the Motor Control & Skill Acquisition Research Group research team.

Steve lectures across undergraduate units including EXSS3062 - Motor Control & Skill Acquisition as well as EXSS2033 Psychology of Exercise & Physical Activity. In terms of post-graduate supervision, Steve is presently supervising honours, masters, and several PhD candidates.
