Professor Tim Driscoll

My main areas of interest include the burden of occupational disease and injury; occupational cancer and exposure to occupational carcinogens, particularly asbestos, silica, diesel engine exhaust and welding fumes; occupational lung disease; and improving the communication of epidemiological principles and findings to the general public. I lead the occupational risk factors expert working group in the Global Burden of Disease study.

My main area of teaching is epidemiology at the post-graduate level. I also contribute to teaching in burden of disease, occupational health and safety and injury in the Master of Public Health and the Graduate Medical Program.
