Dr Tracy Robinson

Tracy is a mental health nurse with a PhD is Psychology. Her doctorate involved adapting and implementing an emotional resilience program for adolescents in high schools in collaboration with First Nation communities in rural NSW. Tracy has worked across health disciplines including Nursing, Medicine and Public Health at several universities. She has a long history of working in rural health including her role as Program Leader (Education) at the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (University of Newcastle). Tracy has worked as a Senior Lecturer in both under and post grad Nursing Schools across Australia. After completing her PhD, she was awarded a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship in Implementation Science in the Medical school at the University of Sydney. In this role she coordinated a range of translation studies in cancer care and mental health. More recently, Tracy worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI) in the School of Public Health at Monash University. She has extensive experience at participatory and applied health research with a focus on implementation science and translational research, healthcare improvement, healthy ageing and emotional resilience.
