Objective: This project strives to establish an automated landmark detection model using deep learning approaches. Its primary goal is to generate personalized surgical reports that provide invaluable assistance in clinical decision-making.
Accuracy Analysis of 3D Pre-operative Planning:
Objective: This project delves into investigating the factors that potentially influence discrepancies in implant sizes between pre-operative planning and the actual intraoperative selection. The project utilizes 3D-assisted pre-operative planning and implant simulation methods to achieve its objectives.
Prediction of Surgical Outcomes Using the Digital Twin Model:
Objective: Leveraging the concept of a digital twin, which involves real-time digitization of the physical world using historical data, this project explores the development of a dynamic digital twin model. This model continuously refines its insights by considering patient-specific parameters, leading to refined patient and treatment classifications. Ultimately, it aims to predict the future health trajectory of individuals, enabling early intervention when necessary.
Patella Cutting Tool Design:
Objective: Precision in patella cutting, ensuring the correct thickness in different quadrants, is paramount for the success of prosthesis implantation. This project is dedicated to designing a cutting tool specifically for patellas. The tool's design emphasizes accuracy and stability in positioning and cutting patellas, ultimately improving the implantation process.
