The prevalence of music performance anxiety

This study explores the prevalence of music performance anxiety with the primary objective of gaining insight into the challenges musicians face when performing.

Participants will be asked to fill in a few questionnaires about their experiences and feelings related to music performance. The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. For the participation, they can choose to enter a draw to win one of 30 $40 gift cards (Prezzee Smart eGift Card), even if they choose to withdraw from the survey at any point. 

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are:

  • Age 17 or above
  • Currently enrolled in a music degree program studying an instrument (including vocals) in Australia
  • Fluent in English
