Dr Catherine Viengkham

Dr Catherine Viengkham is a postdoctoral Research Fellow working within the Sydney Nursing School. She completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales, where she specialised in aesthetic processing and visual perception. Her research focused on the determinants of aesthetic preferences, examining the factors that drive individual differences in these preferences, such as personality, visual sensitivitiy, sensory modality and the presence of neuroatypical traits.
Dr Viengkham's current research interests include: communicable diseases, infection prevention and control, healthcare-associated infections, improving the quality and safety of healthcare and aged care, behaviour change, outbreak management and public health.
